Why move out cleaning is required in Sweden

What does move out cleaning cost?
The price depends on the size of the home and starts at 1 650 SEK after the RUT deduction, with all cleaning products included. Some examples: 40 m² costs 1 960 SEK, 60 m² costs 2 940 SEK, 80 m² costs 3 920 SEK, 100 m² costs 4 900 SEK. For homes larger than 250 m² we look at the flat and give you a quote. Pensioners and students get 10 % off. Some say move-out cleaning or moving out cleaning. In Swedish it is called flyttstädning, and it is the cleaning your lease asks for.
How the inspection guarantee works
After you move out, the landlord or the new owner often inspects the home. If the inspection finds something, we come back and fix it at no cost. Get in touch as soon as you have heard from them. We are normally there within 48 to 72 hours.

What is not included?
The oven, windows, blinds, the balcony, household appliances and floor drains are not part of the basic cleaning, but you can add them.
Do I need to bring cleaning products?
No. We bring all equipment and cleaning products. The only thing that needs to work in the home is the lighting.
Do I need to be there while you clean?
No. You can leave the keys at our office on Friggagatan in central Gothenburg, or we agree on something else.
Do I get the RUT deduction?
If you pay tax in Sweden, you normally do. We deduct it directly on the invoice and handle the paperwork with Skatteverket, so you only pay your part.
Do you offer a discount?
Pensioners and students get 10 % off. Tell us when you get in touch, and show your student card or pension certificate at the first visit.
What is the difference between move out cleaning and cleaning before a viewing?
Cleaning before a viewing is done with the furniture still in place, before the estate agent shows the home. Move out cleaning is done when the home is empty, and often ends with an inspection.
What is the RUT deduction?
RUT is a Swedish tax deduction for household services. It covers 50 % of the labour cost, and you get it if you pay tax in Sweden. You do not need to apply for anything yourself. We deduct it directly on the invoice and handle the paperwork with Skatteverket. Every price on this page is what you actually pay, after the deduction.
